Appeal Success in Stow Longa!
We’re delighted to have secured another successful appeal:
Land North of Sunnyside Farm, Kimbolton Road, Stow Longa, Cambridgeshire
The original application was refused due to countryside location and character concerns, plus the lack of a formal footpath.
Our appeal showed:
- The site is a logical extension to the village
- The absence of formal footways is typical of rural development patterns
- Residents can access local services in nearby settlements, consistent with rural village life
- Future designs can integrate sensitively with the surroundings
The Planning Inspector agreed that any harm is limited and the benefits of delivering new housing outweigh the policy conflict, especially given the Council’s housing land supply shortfall.
