Redevelopment Of Farm yard into 3 dwellings

The client wanted to make maximum useage of the site whilst maintaining reasonably large properties that reflect the current buildings and form.

The original buildings formed a 3 sided courtyard. The buildings consisted of single storeycattle barns and associated feed stores.

The design thoughts were to emulate the overall form and incorporate some of the detailing such as timber cladding and brick abutments. To get the best results the buildings needed to be two storey and this was broken up by the two material choices.
